We have been keeping a very close eye on the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic situation. Federal and state guidelines continue to be fluid as everyone learns more about this health crisis. Our primary concern is for your safety and health as well as honoring our commitments to you and to the sheep.
We successfully held an "online" virtual event on May 2nd.
We had hoped to host an in person dinner event in June, but at this point regrettably feel compelled to cancel this plan. Not unlike repeated unsuccessful plans in stalking a prized sheep, this is not a failure, just a time to change plans (again).
We appreciate your patience as we decide how to best and most fairly deal with those who have pre-paid for dinner tickets, and who were looking forward to the dinner and "must-be-present-to-win" drawings. We will be open and communicative, posting updated information here and via email.
We will err on the side of fairness while keeping our ultimate mission in mind, Putting and Keeping Sheep on the Mountain. California desert sheep have received no subsidy checks, unemployment, loan deferral, PPP, or other support to help tide them over during this crisis. We can not take a break in deploying drinkers or supporting good policy.
We hope that you are staying in place, keeping yourself and your loved ones healthy, and remain happy while dreaming of your next hunt.
