We have been keeping a very close eye on the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic situation as we get nearer to our fundraiser date of May 2nd. With the new federal guidelines to “stay in place” and avoid groups until the end of April, and as California has now followed with guidelines extending through May 3 we find it necessary to change our May 2nd annual fundraiser . Our primary concern is for your safety and health as well as honoring our commitments to you and to the sheep.
We have therefore decided on a two-pronged solution.
We will continue with an "online" virtual event on May 2nd.
The online auction will include the Alaska Chitina Bison Zone DI450 Permit and the California Cady Mountains Bighorn Sheep Permit. Both these premier tags are expected to be highly contested and we wish all bidders good luck! In addition, this event will have many additional live auction items available for online bidding. A full list will be available shortly on the OnlineHuntingAuctions site and we’ll send you a message at that time. Included will be many hunts and equipment you won't want to miss out on!
We will also draw and award our 2021 Stone Sheep winner on May 2nd. Please note that the Stone Sheep drawing is sold out. Finally, also on May 2nd, we will draw and award the M.O.A. 300 PRC Extreme Ascent custom rifle. There are still tickets available for this drawing — get your orders in soon!
Our dinner event will be held on June 27, 2020. We have made arrangements with the DoubleTree Sacramento and will be working with the hotel to automatically enable date changes for your hotel reservations. If we are not able to do that, Beverly will contact those with reservations directly to give you information on what is necessary.
Your dinner payment will automatically be moved to the June 27, 2020 date to save your reservation. However, we do understand that this delay may create a conflict for you. If you are not able to attend on the June 27 date please let Beverly know as soon as possible. We will either provide a full refund or, at your discretion, your payment can be moved to a tax deductible donation to the Give a Lamb a Drink campaign. We will continue PUTTING AND KEEPING SHEEP ON THE MOUNTAINS after this pandemic episode is behind us and your support is what makes it possible.
We hope that you are staying in place, keeping yourself and your loved ones healthy, and remain happy while dreaming of your next hunt.
